OFF-Beat Village Tour

Pick up from GAU airport & drive to Shillong (117 kms, 3 to
4hrs drive).
Enroute, there will be short stops for Refreshments and
Sightseeing.

* Umiam Lake view point.

* Mawphhlang Sacred Grove home to numerous rare plants
and animal species, an ideal place for birdwatchers and
wildlife enthusiasts.

* Shillong Peak the highest peak which provides a panoramic
view of the entire region.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, we proceed to South West Khasi Hills
(86kms, 3hrs drive).

* Visit the heritage sites of Rohbah village taking one back to
100 years before.

* Explore the village or take a dip or kayak in the crystal clear
water of Rilang River
Overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Nongnah Village an hour drive
from our base (44.6 kms, 1.5 hrs drive).
Once at the destination, people will witness the beautiful
table top of Nongnah which offers a bird's eye view of the
entire hills and valleys.
An hour and a half trek to one of the longest cave found in
the khasi hills, followed by a rejuvenate dip in nature’s own
carved infinity pool.
Proceed back to base for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed to Mawphanlur village (90kms,
3hrs drive) which offers verdant scenery, half a dozen lakes,
one that would make a romantic poet gush.

Relax with the sound of chirping birds as you kayak in one
of it's idyllic lakes.
Visit the symper rock, followed by a bonfire at night
